We make sure it's worth watching...

Ever since they've created video sports games, people have been using them to simulate games.  In the old days, you'd be limited to Jeff George and Steve Walsh horrible their way through a dated matchup.  However, the technology available to us today allows us to not only virtually replicate Drew Brees and Peyton Manning, but also throw in some new plays and some motion to breathe new life into a classic.

The full game footage

We used the advanced hack Tecmo Super Coach in order to show off some new updates.  The other thing we did was simulate the game 100 times.  Here were some results

  • The Saints won 52% of the time
  • Games were decided by 4 or less points 43% of the time
Given that we're talking about a close coin-flip type of game, we decided to use the best of the simulations.  If you're simply interested in who won the game, the following clip will explain in the first 5 seconds.

If you want the relatively uncut version of the game and/or the best NFL stat site on the planet, look no further than pro-football-reference.com
